A championship game, lost.....

Jensen had an amazing season of football this year....they won 9 of the 11 regular season games and then went on to the playoffs, beating one of the teams and then as we have had done to us in the past with Drew, we face Bingham in the Champion ship game and come up short.
The score was 0-0 at the end of regulation time and we went into overtime....dreaded overtime. We had the ball first and were not quite able to make it into the end zone, and then it was their turn. Punching it in for them was like a punch in the stomach to me. The game was just how they should be in playoffs though,....tough, tense and hard-fought.
Jensen got through it just fine. I think it is just as hard, if not harder for the parents at this young age, to watch them work so hard, and truly deserve the win.....
It is always hard to have a season come to an end. You become so close to the families that you are involved with day in and day out for nearly 4 months of your lives. We always make awesome friends, and usually end up playing with at least some of them again the next year. Keeping our fingers crossed. So blessed to have been a part of such an incredible team!!
